Request for Volunteers: Cincinnatians for Progress: No On Issue 9

October 9th, 2009

Things are starting to pick up for Cincinnatians for Progress volunteer efforts. Last week we had our first successful canvass of the Madisonville area. We had a great response from the community and look forward to taking our message door-to-door every weekend until we defeat Issue 9. We are holding another canvass this Saturday from Noon-2PM. Please contact me if you would like to attend.

If you haven’t already done so, sign up to volunteer. Opportunities include attending events with literature, hosting a host party, distributing signs, door-to-door literature drop off, phone calls, and more! Visit our sign-up site today and we will make sure you have the opportunity to make a difference.

Here’s one great volunteer opportunity! Starting today, we are implementing a nightly phone bank on the weekdays. From 6-9PM, we are going to call folks every day to make sure they are informed and Vote No On 9. Sign up now!

And finally, thanks to everyone who came to our Yard Sign Assembly Party. We put together a lot signs and they look great. This week we will be working on getting yard signs out to those of you who requested one with our yard sign request form. However if you are impatient to get the word out, feel  free to stop by our office at 1344 Vine Street from 9-5, Monday through Friday and pick one up.

Thanks for all your support!
