Call for Volunteers: Cincinnatians For Progress

September 23rd, 2009

CincyPAC has endorsed Cincinnatians for Progress and is Opposed to Issue 9.  See a call for volunteers below:

We have some great updates and new opportunities to share with you in this email. November 3 is closing in and now is the time for us to work together to defeat issue 9!

It’s been a big week for Cincinnatians for Progress — a lot of community groups announced support for the campaign:  Hamilton County Democratic Party,  Cincinnati Planning Commission, Agenda 360, Bikepac,  Corryville Community Council, and Ohio Environmental Council. More to come!

Our yard sign contest is online and we’ll be announcing a winner soon, so remember to sign up for a yard sign. One of the artists who produced a design for us, Nathan Strieter, made an awesome video about defeating issue 9. Be sure to check it out and send the link to your friends.

We need volunteers for some specific activities in the weeks before the election!!!

-We are looking for folks to help distribute literature and sign up new volunteers at Findlay Market during the peak hours on the weekend. Findlay Market is a great place to get the word out and we want to let folks there know Vote No On 9.

-Findlay Market isn’t the only place to get great food in town. We are looking for people to help volunteer to distribute literature and sign up new volunteers at the Hyde Park Farmer’s Market. Located a half a block south of Hyde Park Square on Edwards Road, the Hyde Park Farmer’s Market takes place on Sundays from 9:30AM-1:30PM.

-The Midpoint Music Festival is always a great place to check out local bands. With a variety of acts at different locations throughout downtown, we are looking for folks to volunteer to hand out literature and sign up new volunteers.

-We are looking for volunteers to help distribute literature and sign up new volunteers at Streetscapes: A Street Painting Festival. This Saturday and Sunday from 10AM-6PM, local artists will paint the pavement at Telford Street and Ludlow Avenue in Clifton’s Gaslight district.

Please use this form to signup and we’ll be in touch soon!

Thank you for your support and together we will work to defeat Issue 9!
