Greg Harris should be appointed to Cincinnati City Council to take the seat recently vacated by John Cranley.

Harris has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment to young professional issues, such as funding adequate public transportation, quality programming and marketing of the area, great parks, green space and environmental sustainability, quality entertainment options and venues and access to economic prosperity and a diverse community.

CincyPAC, the first and only political action committee to lobby and advocate on behalf of Cincinnati’s critically important young professional community, endorsed seven City Council candidates in 2007. Five were elected, with the exception of Democrat Harris and Republican Pat Fischer.

CincyPAC’s 1,100 members have been continually impressed with Harris’s devotion to making Cincinnati a great place to live, work and play.

“Greg Harris is not a flash in the pan,” said Candace Klein, CincyPAC president. “He gets what is important to Cincinnati’s young professionals and has not wavered in the time since he lost a seat on Council. We feel very strongly Greg will be someone young professionals in Cincinnati can turn to and count on to make this the most desirable place to live not only in this region, but the entire country.”

Harris said he is proud to continue to receive CincyPAC’s support.

“Cincinnati’s future is intertwined with its ability to attract and retain good and young talent,” Harris said. “We don’t want people to just come here, we want them to stay here and build a life here. CincyPAC is emerging as a critical part of the Cincinnati political landscape and I humbled by their support.”
